Fisk Commencement week at Tempo high school opera this evening with the an nual junior class reception, and fol lowing it during the course of the coni ng week aie three other none the less important events. Tomorrow evening is tne baccalaureate address by the Rev. Wilbur Fisk; on Friday evening is the senior play, and on the following oght is th.it one great occasion of them all. the commencement exercises. Elaborate plans have been laid for thi., evening's reception to the depart ing seniors. The affair will be given in the high school and the hosts are sparing no efforts to make the occasion i. memorable one. The baccalaurei.te service will be held in the high school auditorium tomor row evening commencing at eight o'clock. S rvices at the churches in town have been .suspended in favor of this annual program and baccalaureate address. The senior play on Friday niaht is au item of commencement week that is at tractiffi quite a little attention. The cast has been carefully chosen and a splendid production is looked for. Thursday evening, and cared for quite a quantity of business that has ac cumulated within the month past. The usual expense accounts; for April were audited and ordered paid. Various Plans for the ruichase of si wer pipe to make the connections from the mains to propertv. were discussed. Engin.H-r Knipe furnished considerable data on the proposition, and estimated that there ;,re probably 123 street and 230 alley connections to be mudv. Whether the council will oversee thits division of the work has not been decided. Sev eral prices on pipe and material were considered but no action was taken.
