W. S. WILSON, Clerk. MRS. C. W. McRAE, Member. Trustees of School District No. 14 of Maricopa County, Arizona. o Republican A. P. Leased Wire NEW YORK, Aug. 9. Trading in stocks today was influenced almost entirely by President Wilson's address which Wall street interests, conserva tive as well as speculative, accepted as extremely favorable to the conser vative side. Gains of the preceding session were considerably enhanced, especially in equipments and the wide range of in dustrials which are expected to show further prosperity by enormous post war demands. Rails and food shares, which suf fered severely -in the several recent de fines also -rallied vigorously, a large t of the week's extreme loss being overed. Sales 635.000 shares. General news of the day also fa vored the long account including the July tonnage statement of the United States Steel corporation, which dis closed an increase in unfilled orders of almost 700,000 tons over the preceding months. This marks the second successive in crease of the corporation and brings the total of business on hand up to and beyond any period since last March. Bonds were irregular. Liberty issues as well as internationals. Total sales. par value, $7,250,000. Old United States bonds unchanged on call during the week. ($1.25) TEXAS CRUDE ($1.25) MONARCH OF THE INDEPENDENT COMPANIES AND A REGULAR DIVIDEND PAYER We have been buying in this stock from people who had to sell and can offer a few hundred shares at $1.25 per share.
