Roads Bulletin The roads throughout the state are probably better just now than they have been for a long time and travel is heavy in every di rection. The Ehrenburg ferry is open now and the road from the river to Blythe is fairly good. The roads to Tucson and the southeast portion of the state are in fair condition. Most of the travel is going over the new Superior road to Florence and this road is in good shape. The road to Globe over the Apache trail is rough 30 miles is very rough which makes slow traveling although the traffic is quite heavy at this time of the year. From Globe to the "White mountains the roads are fair but the motorist will encounter some very heavy grades over this road which cannot be made by a car that is heavily loaded. The road from Roosevelt through Payson, Tine and Flagstaff is in fairly good condition as far as Payson. There are also several hard grades on this road especially at Strawberry Hill, just beyond Payson, which has a very difficult grade that many motor ists are unable to negotiate.
