wagon loads of merchandise, left this
morning for his home In the Nacla
micnto mountains.
Yesterday P. F. McCanna sold to
Warren Graham, the two-story brick
residence on North Fourth street,
formerly owned by A. G. Otero, of
Oakland, Cal. Tho purchase price Is
understood to have been $4,500.
Charles S. White, manager of the
Knlght-I,ocke Piano company, at Pu
eblo, Colo., arrived in the city last
night to take charge of the company's
store here. Mr. White will Introduce
some very good bargains In pianos.
It. L. Dodson, manager or the Al
buquerque Cycle and Arms company,
went to Santa Ke today for the pur
pose of setting up the two handsome
new Ford automobiles recently pur
chased by Governor Otero and Ter
ritorial Secretary J. W. Raynolds.
Joseflta, the 2-year-old daughter of
Justice Gabriel Sanchez and wife, of
Kanchos de Atrlsco, died at the fam
ily home yesterday morning at 10:30
o'clock, after a brief illness with ty
phoid, fever. The funeral took place
at. 9 o'clock this morning and burial
was In the Catholic cemetery at
Atrlsco.
A letter received in this city this
morning gives an account of the
death of Miss Edna Olufs at Chicago
July 4, of appendicitis. Miss Olufs
has many friends In this city, having
spent three years or more hero, dur
ing wilieh time she clerked at the
Golden. Rule Dry Goods store, and
Rlso at the Lion store. Miss Olufs
has been absent fiom the city the past
year.

Bernalillo County Refunding Bonds.
Notice is given that the board of
county commissioners of Bernalillo
county. New Mexico, will receive seal
ed bids up to 12 o'clock noon on July
24, 1905, for seventy thousand four
hundred dollars ($70,400) of refunding
bonds bearing not more than 5 per
cent Interest, to be dated July 1, 1905,
subject to call after twenty years and
payablo thirty years from their date.
