Here is Santa Fe testimony to prove

Anselmo Aruiijo, living at 124 Cer

Medicines that she used proved of

with Doan's Kidney Pills which we
had the good fortune to learn of and
procured a box at The Ireland Phar

amply proven in her case. After
using five boxes she was a well wo

ever since. I make this statement
unsolicited, being prompted to do so
that I may show my appreciation of
this remedy, Doan's Kidney Pills."

A correspondent of the Mining
World writes as follows under date
Of July 25, from Orogrande:
"One of the largest concentrating
plants is to be constructed by the
Tularosa Copper Company operating
at Bent, in Tularosa Canon, north of
Alampgordo. At the present time the
company operates a mill of 30 tons
daily capacity. The plans for the
larger plant have been drawn and
bids will shortly be asked for the con
struction of the mill. The company's
property is located 15 miles from the
railroad, and at present 35 men are
employed in mine and mill. Mining
operations are carried on in a miner
alized'''' porphyry dike, the width of
which .has not yet been ascertained.
The mineral occurs in kidneys in the
dike, and is disseminated through the
mass in stringers, slivers and pin
points of sulphide, with occasional
specks of native copper. Chalcoeite is
the predominating mineral, however,
This ore Is taken from the bottom of
a 70-foot, shaft in chambers about 60
feet square and a new shaft is being
started on the same dike.
"In mining the sulphide, the ore . is
hand-sorted in the mine, the crude
smelting ore being very rich, running
50 per cent in copper. The balance
goes to the breaker, thence to two
sets of rolls, followed by two No. 5,
Wilfley lables, over which 13 tons
each are sent dally, making a con
centrate that runs very high. Ship
ments are made to the Copper Queen
smelter at Douglas, Arizona. The con
centrates carry 9 iper cent iron, 7 per
cent lime, 20 per cent sulphur and
the balance in silica. The company
has been shipping for over a year and
drifts 300 feet each way from the
bottom of the shaft have been sent
out into the mineralized mass. George
Bent is manager.
"The Southwest Mining Company at
Orogrande is to blow in Its smelting
plant July 1. Fuel is arriving now.
purchase of same having been made
in the Indian Territory. At the pres
ent time the second level of the Lucky
mine is being continued through the
.hill to the flat on the , north side
where it will emerge at the collar ol
the new shaft. The ore is to be
trammed through the hill to the bins
on the south side. At a depth of 220
feet in the new shaft three drifts are
driving in an ore body 20 feet in
width, iron in character, carrying
copper of a smelting grade, and from
which shipments are to be made to
the reduction plant. In the old work
ings ore is toeing mined and more de
veloped. From the bottom of the
Lucky shaft diamond drilling opera
tions are carried on to exploit the re
gions below. As the drifts are ex-
tended, water is encountered, which
flows at the rate of about 70 gallons
a minute, A new compressor is to
be installed in the flat and a larger
boiler house erected there also.
"The Lincoln Concentrator at Brice
is shipping three to four cars of see
ondary copper ore monthly, which
gives returns of from $500 to $600
per car net at the smelter, shipments
being made to El Paso at the present
time.
"The Turquoise Copper Company,
also at Brice, is. shipping steadily.
This mine is on the' site of the old De
Mueles turquoise workings. At a
depth of 140 feet mining operations
are carried on. The ore is highly sill
cious (about 65 per cent) and about 4
per cent of it is secondary. It is filled
with seams of black oxide and shot
through with particles of chalcoeite.
None of it has run less than 11 per
cent. The ore is hand-sorted on the
surface an'd screened, the screenings
running rather lower than the coarse
ore. It is the intention, later on, to
equip the plant with machinery.
"J. A. Reed of . Brice is operating
the Cuprite and is shipping two cars
of ore monthly, which gives returns
of $450 to $550 per car, at the smelter."
At a meeting held this week of the
Standard Mining Company, operating

and other properties at the head of
Water Canon, at Orogrande, the fol
lowing officers were elected for the en
suing year:
President, T. J. Fink, Enid, Okla
homa; vice-president, W. B. Brack,
Orogrande, New Mexico; treasurer, L.
D. Baker, Lawton, Oklahoma; secre
tary, T. E. Rubey, Orogrande, New
Mexico. The "above, with' Dr. H. C.
Knight, of Antlers, Indian Territory,
constitute the directory.
The company has ordered a gasoline
engine and hoist, and, will proceed to
develop the mine along the most ap
proved lines. Up to the present time
a windlass has been used, ,but the
depth, which is to be increased, de
mands power. It is the intention to
commence to raise the ore which is
blocked out of this property.
Suitable buildings are also to be
erected for the benefit of employes of
the property, and development work
will be crowded ffs fast as possible at
this point. .:

Troubles of the stomach, Heart or
Kidneys, are merely symptoms of a
deeper ailment. Don't make the com
mon error of treating symptoms only.
Symptom treatment is treating the re
sult of your ailment, and not the
cause. Weak Stomach nerves the to
side nerves means Stomach weak
ness, always. And the Heart, and
Kidneys as well, have their controlling
or inside nerves. Weaken these
nerves, and you inevita'ily have weak
vital organs. Here is where Dr

fame. No other remedy even claims
to treat the "inside nerves." Also for
