Lamy who has been sojourn ing at Faywood Hot Springs for the past several weeks, Is expected to re turn to this city in the near future. R. N. Clokey who Is in business at Glorieta, spent Saturday in this city and attended Pawnee Bill's wild West Show. He was a guest at the Normandie. Juan T. Garcia and Celestino Gar de, sheep raisers in the vicinity of Encino, were among today's town vlS' Itors. They were here on personal business. Captain David J. Leahy, assistant U. S. attorney, was among yesterday's arrivals in the Capital. He came to the city on official business and Is a guest at the Claire. Assistant Attorney R. E. Twitchell of the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway, was a guest at the Palace today from his home at Las Vegas. He is here on legal business. R. M. Knowlton, representing the Carter Rice corporation of Denver, dealers in paper and newspaper sup plies, was in town yesterday and to day on business. He was a guest at the Claire. Rev. J. W. Anderson, pastor . of St John's Methodist Episcopal church. left this morning for Espanola, where he will hold regular monthly devotion al services this evening. He will re turn tomorrow. Mr. and Mrs. James A. Tarr and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Tarr, of Stan ley, were visitors Saturday and yes terday in Santa Fe. They came here to attend the Pawnee Bill show and the baseball game. Mrs. Rafael Lopez, and son Celso Lopez, county treasurer, who attended the funeral of the former's brother, Jesus Ma. Montoya yesterday at Po joaque, have gone to Espanola for a visit of a few days with relatives. Frank Newhall and Carlos Cream er returned home Saturday afternoon after a week's fishing trip on the Rio Pueblo in Taos County. It rained nearly every day while they were away but they enjoyed their outing just the same and caught lots of fish. Larrazolo of Las Vegas, is in the city on legal business before the present term of the district court of Santa Fe county. He has been employed as counsel for the pros ecution in the murder case of the Territory versus Benito Chaves and Raimundo Ronquillo, which will come up for trial this week. C. T. Brown of Socorro spent Sat urday and yesterday in this city on Masonic business. - He attended the communication of Santa Fe Lodg5 of Perfection of the Scottish Rite and communicated the degrees from the 15th to the 18th inclusive, being of the chapter of Rose Croix, to four candi dates. In this work he was assisted by Dr. Charles A. Wheelon, who Is the Master of the lodge. Mr. Brown is a very busy man being the superinten dent, of several mining companies in the Magdalena, Kelly and Black Range mining districts, and also much in demand for examination of mines. ; He returned to his home last even'ng.
