critically ill for a time has recovered

County Treasurer Eugenlo Romero,
of San Miguel county registered at
the Claire hotel today from Las Ve
gas. He came here from Estancla
where he has been several days on

the city last evening, coming here to
purchase a casket in which to bury
a niece, a child two years old, who
died at Galisteo. He returned to his

the Estancla Valley, where he propos
es to locate on a homestead claim.
He came here for the purpose of mak
ing homestead entry at the local U.

John H. Walker, civil engineer and
surveyor, has been busy for the
past ten days surveying a reservoir
and ditch system on the Sabastian
Martin land grant in southern Rio Ar
