James Mason, a native, was drowned 1 near Gambier bay about six days ago. 1 No one witnessed the accident. His 1 brother hud left him at that point and on returning found him gone. A 1 search revealed the body which was 1 brought to Juneau Saturday night and taken to the Juneau undertaking par lors. Deceased was about 19 years <1 of age and had many friends in Ju- 1 neau where he was well known.
