The second same of basketball in the tournament will be held at the Treadwell Club to night at 8 o'clock between Compan ies No. 2 and No. 6. the Mexican and the cyanide plant. A close game is ex pected. There will be a bowling match at ! the Treadwell Club alleys tomorrow evening between the Treadwell and the cyanide plant teams. A fair sized crowd attended the ? lance at the Treadwell Club last night. The music was excellent. Charlie Thielieke joined the Elks last night. There will be a band rehearsal to night at 8:15 at the Club, all mem bers are requested to attend. Mr. Fragile, who is confined at the St. Ann's hospital, is much improved today. The piledriver was doing some re pair work on the ferry dock yester day. The Caledonian Club will meet to night at the Croatian Society hall on St. Ann's avenue. Territorial Mine Inspector William Maloney is a Northbound passenger enroute to Juneau after an extended visit throughout the East. Inspector Maloney was a representative to the American Mining Congress having been named by Gov. J. F. A. Strong as one of the representatives for the Territory of Alaska.
