Brown, of the Third Judicial Division, residing in Valdez, , arrived In Juneau on the Mariposa last night and tried one case in the district court this morning in which Judge R. \V. Jennings was disqualified but re sumed his Journey to the Westward on the Mariposa. This ?! prosecution is a result of the grand l Jury's purpose to cause the abatement of the practice of selling liquor with ; out license in the restricted district.
