Stedman, who has located in Juneau as the representative of the Portland houses of Allen & Lewis and the Houneymau Hardware Com pany, has opened offices in tho Malony block . Mr. Stedman Is well known in Juneau. He has been a resident of I Southeastern Alaska for mauy years, and resided at Ketchikan for a long time where he conducted tho Hotol Stedman. , , . BIG MEN REPRESENT ALASKA AT WASHINGTON - Speaking of the size of Lho men who represented the Alaska Bureau of the Seattle Chamber of Cornmerco at Washington during the campaign con ducted for the passage of the Aluska railroad bill, Joseph W. Gilbert, Wash ington correspondent of the Seattle I'ost Intelligencer, says: "The size of the individuals who ; compose the Alaska bureau's educa tional committee hero has been the subject of some comment. A few days ago the delegation entered the elevator at the Raleigh Hotel. Will H. Parry, 2G0 pounds; Charles G. Heif ner, 230 pounds; Falcon Joslin 225 pounds; Donald A. McKenzie, 235 pounds, and "Stikinc Bill" Robinson, 250 pounds, were in the party." COWARD BRINGS BRIDE. O. L. Coward. Alaska representative of the General Electric company, ar rived on the Admiral Sampson this morning, bringing a charming Virgin la girl home as a bride. They were j married during the early winter in! Virginia. They have taken apartments at the Occidental for the present. HON. R. D. GRAY GOING HOME Hon. R. D. Gray, representing the Third Division of Alaska in the Terri torial legislature assembly, passed through Juneau enroute to Katalla on tho Admiral Sampson. Mr. Gray has been visiting in tho States.
