From Tuesdays Bulletin Mips Maxine Marshal celebrated her Thirteenth Birthday Saturday Afternoon May 4th, at the home of her sister Mrs. C. N. Jones on Keystone Ave. The guests enjoyed themselves with music and games of all kinds, after which an elegant spread was served. The following were invited: Miss Katherine Es terly, Dorothea Miller. Two prizes were awarded, Katherine Esterlv winning one and Helen Brown the other. The Latonche Island Copper Mining Co., which is handling the property acquired by Geo. Barrack and Jas. Girdwood, has a wharf completed on Latouche with the exception of the planking, and a tramway outfit is now on the ground. They have out a dump of about 500 tons and should be in hhape to ship in six weeks. It is reported that Clerk of the Court Stiers is a passenger on the Clara.
