Spokane, Aug. 27—Several cloud
bursts have occured in several sec
tions of eastern \\ asliington, caus
ing thousands of dollars damage to
crops. Umatilla county has had
several severe hail storms in the
past few days, doing considerable
damage.

letter quarrel over the policy to he
