The range is located just south of East Washington Street near its intersection with Van Buren. Roland Taylor, general chair man, said 42 life-size javelina targets, including at least three moving targets, will be provided for the tournament on the club’s natural terrain range. In addi tion five novelty shoots are plan ned. Registration will be from 7 to 10 a. m. daily. This scheme, let it be noted, comes at a time when we are running a fiscal year deficit of close to $8 billion, and when the federal government’s increases in tax revenues are substantially be low its increases in expenditures. The pending jumps in spending will, if Congress should be so fool ish as to authorize them, be large ly and perhaps wholely in welfare state projects. Then, in all prob ability, the weary old cycle would start again. Mu • hammad, who is the outspoken minister of Muhammad Mosque No. 32 at 511 South 20th Street, signed a contract with radio sta tion KWBY. The program “Muhammad Speaks” will be aired on Sundays from 10:30 A. M. to 11 A. M. start ing December 23, 1962. Elijah Muhammad, Messenger of Allah, succeeded in acquiring radio time in order to convey “the truth to the so-called American Negro, will get the truth first hand.” I was unable to gain further in formation at the present time but will give full report at a later date.
