Permit No. 126 Africans Plan for Skyscraper LIVERPOOL, Eng., Aug. 7- Premier Nnamdi Azikiwe of Eastern Nigeria today announced a contract had been granted for build ing the first skyscraper in East Africa. Azikiwe, before boarding a ship for home, said a Lon don firm has signed a $5.6 million contract to build a 20-story structure at Enugu, capital of Eastern Nigeria. The skyscraper will house the government offices, he said. Last Monday, it was an nounced the private school was out of money and it would not re-open this fall. It would take $400,000 for the school’s operation.
