Mr. Foster, an employee at Hughes Aircraft plant in Tucson, retired from regular duty with the U.S. Army as chief warrant officer after completing 32 years of service. He served with the 93rd division in the South Pacific area. He met Mr. Banks at Flack Casserne military base in Germany. He was the supply officer there while Mr. Banks was program dir ector of the American Red Cross and general manager of the post exchange at the base. Henry Foster was cited many times during his long and distin guished army career. He was active in sports and at one time he was pitcher on the championship baseball team in ETO. Foster built The Blue Room, one of the first enlisted men's clubs in Germany following World War Two. He, his wife and 3 sons live at 1016 Tenth Ave., TVicson. EASTLAKE PARK NEWS Clarence Jackson, park dir ector announces the summer play program will end at city parks on Friday, Aug. 12. Eastlake Park band directed by H, F. Edwards will present its final concert in the band shell, Thursday, Aug. 11, 8 p.m. A talent revue starring Paul Chalmers, The Walters Sis ters, The Chrysanthemums and other local performers will be featured, too.
