The Sacramento Record-Union, of Thursday last, says; Grace Church was crowded last evening witii iadies and gentlemen as sembled to witness the wedding cere monies of Miss Ella E Davis, of this city, and Dr. J. ii. Lukens, of Eureka, Nevada. At 9 6’clock the bridal party reached the church and moved up the center aisle to the chancel, where they were met by the officiating clergyman, Rev. J. II. O. Bonte. The bride was accompanied by her sister, Miss Jennie Davis, and the groom by William Stephenson. The bride’s mother, grand parents and uncle were with the party. After the ceremony the happy couple received their friends at the Arcade Hotel, and subsequently the entire party proceeded to Central Hall and danced until the small hours. The Record-Union is a “little off” in claiming the handsome young bridaas a resident of that place, as she, as well as the doctor, is a resident of the Base Range. The error was no doubt caused by Miss Davis having been at school in Sacramento for a year past. The many friends or the happy couple here will congratulate them'on their marriage and wish them godspeed oil their life’s journey. Fourth ok July Meeting.—We are lequested by representatives of the Miners’ Union and Eureka Guards to call a meeting of citizens at the Court house on Monday evening, to take the necossary steps for a celebration on the 4tli (5th) proximo."
