reka County, Nevada, that sealed proposals
will be received by said Board of County Com
missioners up to 12 o’clock on the FIFTH DAY
OF FEBRUARY, A. D. 1883. for properly car
ing for, nursing and furnishing proper and
suitable food for the indigent sick of Eureka
County, Nevada, being at the County Hospital
of said Eureka County, from tlu 7th day of
February, 1883, to the 7th day of February,
1884.
Each bid must bo for properly caring for,
nursing and furnishing proper and suitable
food for each of said indigent sick jiersons per
diem dnrmg the time said persons may re
main in said Hospital, and also for keeping
the buildings, rooms and grounds of said Hos
pital in a cleanly and proper conditicn.
The party whose bid shall be accepted shall
enter into a written contract with the afore
said Board of County Commissioners to per
form the abovo mentioned services and do the
above mentioned things.
Each party submitting a bid must accompany |
his bid with a good and sufficient bond, with i
two or more sureties, to be approved by said I
Board, in the sum of Three Thousand Dollars, 1
United States gold coin, payable to th« County
of Eureka, State of Nevada, and conditioned
for the faithful performance ot his contract.
Said contract will be let to the lowest re
sponsible bidder.

rendered.

IN THE DISTRICT COURT OF THE SIXTH
Judicial District, In aud for the County of
Eureka, State of Nevada.
The State of Nevada sends greeting to John
Bell.
You are hereby required to appear iu an ac
tion commenced against you as defendant by
Zunoli Mining Company as plaintiff, in tho
District Court of the Sixth Judicial Diatrict,
iu and fcr the County of Eureka, State of Ne
vada, at tho town of Eureka, and answer the
complaint therein, which is on flic with tho
Clerk of said Court, within ten days after the
service on you of this summons (exclusive of
tho day of service), if served in said county,
or twenty days if served out of said county but
within this Diatrict, and in all other cases
forty days; or Judgment by default will bo
taken against you, according to the prayer of
said complaint. ,
The said action is brought to recover judg
ment against you, the said defendant, for the
sum of Eight Hundred Dollars for your pro
portion of the money actually expended and
indebtedness assumed by the plaintiff in the
actual and necessary working and development
of the Zanoli mine, in Safford Mining District,
Eureka County, Nevada; that plaintiff has a
lieu against your interest in said mine from
the time of such payment and assumption, and
for such other and further relief as to the
Court may seem meet, and for costs of suit;
that the amount of money actually expended
and indebtedness assumed by the plaintiff,
said Zanoli Mining Company, & corporation
organized aud existing under tho laws of the
Sta e of Nevada, is the sum of Four Thousand,
Eight Hundred Dollars, in tho actual and nee
essary working and development of said Zanoli
mine; and the amount due from you a; owner
of an undivided one-sixth as tenant in com
mon with said Zanoli Mining Company for
your proportion of such money expended and
indebtedness assumed is the sum of Eight
Hundred Dollars.
All of which more fully appears from ibo
complaint of the plaintiff ou file in this action.
And yon are hereby notified that if you fall
to appear and answer the said complaint, as
abovo required, the said plaintiff will apply to
the Court for the relief demanded therein and
