The officers of eae company shall be one Foreman, at lea»t one Ai sistant Foreman, a Secretary and a Treasure! A company desiring admission into the Deparl ment must make application to the Board c Trustees of said Town, accompanying »uch af plication with a copy of their constitution an by-laws, signed by the member» of their compt „y, giving the uauics of their officers and the loci tion they desire. IWB: The Board of Trustee» of «ho town of Go Hill do ordain : SECTION I. It shall not be lawful for any p* son (except Indians) to live or to be found with the limits of the town of Gold Hill who «ball ha no vi«lble means of support, or who shall | about from place to place without any lawf business or occupation, or who shall be guilty begcing for alms; or. being healthy and abl bodied, shall travel abont with written stat ment», or otherwise, seeking aim»; and all «ni persons so found within the limits of said town Gold Hill, and all lewd and dissolute persoi who live in and abont house· of Ill-fume, and ι common drunkards or suspicions persons wl cannot give a good account of themselves, mi be arrested by the Marshal, policemen or oth officer with or without warrant, and u|>on co vlction shall be fined In any sumVot .-xceedli five hundred dollars or imprisonment in the tow jail uot exceeding six month», or by both nui fine and Imprisonment.
