naval pension fund, be, and he is hereby,
authoririHl and directed to causo to be

required for the payment of naval pensions

her the viilue of the one hundred and
thirty one and eighty-two - ouo hundredth
acres of land granted to tbo Territory of
Wisconsin to uid in the construction of the
Milwautic and Hock Hirer ean.il, which
have been sold by laid Territory or said
Stale at oue dollar and twenty-uve cunts
per acre, nnd as muoh moro as the Terri
tory nnd State received upon the same up
on sales of any part thereof at a higher
price, and shall credit laid Slate with tho
amount that has been legally and proper
ly applied by said Stale or Territory tow
ards the cost of selling said land and tow
ards the construction of said canal, And
