H. Styles Bridges of Concord, N. H., was in Ellsworth last Wednesday, leaving in tiie evening, accompanied by his little son. to spend Christmas with his mother in Washington county, returning home this week. The Baptist church will hold its annual business meeting, receive re ports and clipose officers, Thursday evening, following tiie regular prayer service. For this reason the prayer meeting will begin at 7 o’clock in stead of 7.30 as usual. Frank L. Barnes, of tiie United Shoe Machinery Corporation, spent the week-end in Ellsworth, tiie guest of Mrs. Neve 11s and Miss Hazel Nevells. He left for Manchester, N. H.. where lie will he located in the office of the corporation. Shortly before Christmas, Shapiro’s Sample Shop sold a blouse to an out of-town customer whose name they do not know. The blouse was evi dently lost on the way home, and the finder lias reported the same to Mr. Shapiro. The owner of the blouse may secure it by communicating with the store. Sc -idet Dana I’.
