To-marrCw evening tho Republicans of Multno

Victory. There will be a parade, speaking at the
Court House, music by hands and glee clubs, fire
works, and an "old-fashioned love feast."
It was heart-rending to see witli what pitiful
and mournful faces the Democrats on Saturday
night jail led down the picture", trnnspurancics
, and banners that graced the hall on the corner of
'. First and Stark streets during the campaign.
On last Friday night, three highwaymen
stopped a teamster on tlie Red House road ami
demanded bis money. He had none, and they
wahed the articles 111 his wagon, consisting of a
, fcipSi -ine iiouseuoiu furniture, to punish
between Alder and Morrison. He is agent for the
Decker, Fischer and Emerson & Dunham pianos

Prof. E. C. Taylor, the magician, has been
greeted with crowded houses at New Market Thea
ter since his opening night. His entertainments
have uniformly given satisfaction, many of his
tricks being entirely new. In particular, the
magic growtli of flowers and the Turkish box mys
tery are puzzling and highly appreciated. Mile.
La Grande, who assists him, is very clever. Her
"egg dance" accomplished while she is blind
folded, among eggs lying over the stage is won
derful, as it displays a surprising power of remem
bering positions and calculating distances. The
presents given away nightly comprise many use
ful and valuable articles as well as money. Tlie
reception accorded Professor Taylor shows that a
good entertainment will be well supported when
prices are placed at figures to suit the times. His
last performance will he given to-night.

Buowx's Bitoxt'iiiAiriHH HKs are certain to give
relief in Asthma, Bronchitis, Coughs, Catarrh,
Consumption aud Throat Diseases. For thirty
years the Troches have leen recommended by
physicians, and always give perfect satisfaction.
They are not new or untried, but having been
tested by wide and constant use for nearly an en
tire generation, they have attained well-merited
rank among the few staple remedies of the age.
Public speakers and singers use them to clear and
strengthen tlie voice. Sold at twenty-live cents a
box everywhere.
The idea has frequently been advanced that
General Grant's part in tlfe recent campaign was
actuated bv the understanding Hint General Gar
field would favor the "third term" in 1SS4. To set
at rest the idea, the Philadelphia Amerietm, edited
by Wharton Barker, an intimate friend of the
President-elect, announces that General Gariiuld
will lie his own candidate for reelection.
