Reports Two Oldsmobile Sales C. M. Brooklns, sales manager of the Marcott Motor company. Thurs ton county agents for Oldsmobile cars, reports the delivery this week of an Oldsmobie six-cyinder touring car to Arthur Rackham and of an Oldsmobile Six roadster to N. P. Paris, a local tailor. Clausen Has Willys-Knight. State Auditor C. W. Clausen is driving a large new Willys-Knight touring car. delivered to him during the past week by the local Overland agents, the Bronson Motor Car com pany. The firm was notified Thurs day that a carload of Overalnds will Olympta in a few days, having paasbd St. Paul Wednesday. Delivery during the past week of seven Chevrolet Four-Ninety touring cars and one roadster and of six used ears, is reported by that live automo bile firm, the Capital Transit & Re pair company, local Chevrolet agents. The touring cars went to F. A. Hoyt of Maytown, Dan Mulholland of Brighton Park, E. F. Nelson of Schneiders' Prairie, Jacob Pauly and William Bond of Tenino, and John Braun and William Uogal of Olvm pia, while the Four-Ninety roadster was delivered to Fred Kuhn of Ten ino. The company has been making de liveries at this rate for the past sev eral weeks, until its stock of cars Is about exhausted. Another carload is expected to arrive next week aind several have been promised for July by the big factory at Oakland, so the company hopes to be able to keep up with the demand for these machines In this territory. ' FOUR NEW OWNERS ARE NOW DRIVING DOO6E CARS Rose-Nepple Auto Company Reports Deliveries—Another Carload Here Soon. Three Dodge Brothers machines out of a carload shipment received the latter part of last week were de livered by the Rose-Nepple Auto company Monday and Tuesday and the other two will be turned over to their purchasers the last of this week. Another car, an enclosed model, was purchased from the agency at Walla Walla for a local customer. The three machines, all touring cars, were delivered to Judge John P. Main of the state supreme court, Ivar Anderson of the Sloan ship yard and W. E. Teets of South Bay, while the enclosed car was obtained for Judge Stephen J. Chad wick, an other member.of the supreme'bench. The company was notified Wednes day that a second carload now eh route from the factory passed Bt. Paul Wednesday and should reach Olympia within the next ten days This is a larger shipment than usual, containing six cars, but all of them are sold but two. NORTH LAKE. Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Adair and Mrs. Leach and daughter Prances spejnt a week in Oregon* recently. Mr. Elmer Reed left Saturday'Of last week for Bremerton, where, he has enlisted in the navy. Seven of the new Fordson tractors, the first to reach the Northwest, were received and placed on display at the St. John & Titus garage on East Fourth street this week Manager J. P. Mansfield expects another carload to arrive next week. These machines, the first shipment having arrived a few days earlier than expected, are part of the 100 tractors to be distributed at cost among Washington farmers by the state department of agriculture, by the arrangement recently made with Henry Ford & Son. The two carloads received here are to be distributed throughout Southwest Washington. The tractors are built to operate by kerosene, distillate or gasoline, but those St. John & Titus are using in their demonstrations are using kerosene. The machines will make close to three miles per hour at their plowing speed and nearly seven miles on high gear, and are sturdily, compactly and simply built through out. A pglley attachment gives the operator the use of, a 22-horsepower engine in driving an ensilage cutter of other farm machinery. A series of demonstrations will be conducted next Monday and Tuesday, under arrangements being made by County Agent C. H. Bergstrom.
