an exhibitor s ticket, good for the three days of the fair.

birds entered by that person. No Bird to compete for more
man one prize except tor specials. Coops will be furnished
and birds will be watered and fed free of charge.
Birds will be taken from the express office and returned
free.
No one permitted to handle the birds on exhibition ex
cept their owners.
Chick a bird hatched during the present year. Fowl -a
bird hatched before January of the present year. Pens
to consist of one male and four females to be separate birds
from those exhibited in other sections. The Judge may in
his discretion, award additional premiums that do not carry
any money, but will be mentidned as"Highly Commended."

No dogs accepted under four months old.

RULES
No person' nor the product of any lot of cows can com
pete in more than one of the above sections.
To secure uniformity of conditions we recommend that
all butter entered for competition be made on the Saturday
preceding the exhibition.
Butter must be exhibited in packages that contain no
marks that might be recognized by the judges. The usual
shipping trunk or box should not be used.
An expert judge will pass upon each sample of bntter
and cheese, and care should be taken to prevent the judge
from knowing the owner of any sample.
