In the performance of his duties as deputy sheriff, Murphreo has always been relent less, and untiring In his pursuit and apprehension of criminals. He is unpretentious, brave, sober and re liable, and thoroughly understands the duties of the office to which he a-pircs. Murphrce has always dis plaved biavery and good judg. ment in the discharge of the im jortant duties of deputy sheriff, and is spoken of by a number of citizens as the best deputy Sheriff Williams has ever had. At ary rate he is a gentleman ot high and undeniable qualifications, and every fair-minded voter will care fully consider bis claims beloie casting his vote for marshal.
