The White County News con* tinues to denounce Judge Carroll D. Wood and Hon. A. F. Yandc venter. That’s like hitting a man when he’s down. We don’t know a single friend of Judge Carroll £>. Wood who will refuse to vote for Governor Davis in the general election. Every man who voted in the pri mary election thereby pledged his word and honor to support the nomineo, and they will do it to a man. St. Francis county has a paltry little old three votes in the several conventions, due to the fact that democrats fail to vote in the gen eral election. According to the re turns from the late primary and the usual basis, St. Francis county should have at least six delegates. We hope all democrats who voted in the primary will turn out at the general election and vote for Gov ernor Davis, and thus put our county in the rank of importance to which she is entitled. The Arkansas Democrat of last Saturday had an alleged write np of Forrest City and her citizens. In some particulars the write up was very good, but errors pre dominated, and the cuts absolutely conveyed no idea of the things rep resented. In fact'they were nothing more than inkspots. It would be well for our citizens to pass up these itinerant advertising solici tors, as they have absolutely no interest in the community further than to bleed it of a bunch of coin. The write-up in the Demo crat, together with the miserable cuts, probably did the town more harm than good. That Throobing Headache Would quickly leave you. It you used Ur. i: king's New Lite Fills.
