At a malt of the County Hunday School
Convention, the pastor* of the city met on
Wednesday afternoon and cnanlmoualy
decided to take a religious census of the
toani. There are about eighteen hundred
white people In the town, but about four
hundred are regular church goers. Where
are the other fourteen hundred on the
Lord's da> 1* 1 here are about Lve hundred
tchool children in the town, but only about
two buudrfcd and twenty-lie go to Sunday
School. Where are the other t we hundred
and seveuty-^ve on the Lord'a day ? The
town baa been districted as follows and
assigned to the several churches to be can
vassed on Monday, June 0. The railroad
; divides the town Into North and Mouth
sections. Washington street, with Rosser
jouthe sooth and the street hack Of Mr.
McDaniels on the north, divides the town
into Last and West sections. The Meth

copallans the .Southeast, the Baptists the
Southwest, and the Presbyterians the
Northwest. A committee from each Sun

lug their church affiliation and preference.
U Is hoped that everybody will cordially
co-operate In this matter, as It whl help
the pastors to do more systematic work in
the betterment of the moral good of the
town.
