Uvingorie mi e west of Fulwi od, died Thursday morn ing, at 3:40 o’clock, of pneumonia, ageo about <50 years. He was taken sick last Saturday a week ago w ith a chill, and rapidly de veloped this droad malady, wldch i* now so prevalent and fatal. He leave a heart-broken widow to mourn hei desolation. Mr. May was horn and reared in this county and within a half mile of Ins home where he died, lie was a mem ber of the Methodist church, and when asked bv Mr. Henry May what were In* hopes, his last words were, “Not a shadow of a doubt .” The remains w ere in'errod this morn ing at 11 o’clock in the Hughes ceinete ry. Mr. ami Mrs. A .1 Pipkin went to Tbo nton, Texas, on December 23.1904, in iespouse to a message announcing that Mr. Pipkin's brother, Fiank Pip kin, w as dangerously ill. and not *x peeled to live, mention of which wa was made in The Times the following week. They arrived in t me to see their brother alive, but lie died on JN'ew Year’s day. Mrs. Jack Pipkin had a severe coal When she left here, and w as not feeling well upon her amvai at Thornton. Nh gradually grew worse and died on Sure uav, January 8th, 190.', of pneumonia, and was laid away the following d t> in the cemetery of that community, Mrs. Pipkin was formerly Mbs Susie Pinkston, ller parents died wlieu she was quite young, and she made tier home with her Aunt. Mrs. Pinkston, In the Tuttleton neighborhood. Sh« was married to Mr. Jack Pipkin in 1883. being his second wife, and although she had no children of her own, she was a loving and indulgent mother to his children, and devoted to him. At the time of her death she wa« 39 years of age, and a consistent member of the Methodist church. Mr. F. M Pipkin, upon receipt of in formation that tiis stop-mother was ill, started to her bedside, but she died before he readied his destination. He and bis father returned Wednesday tuorning.
