One can have somo idea of tbe immense business this firm has done in foraicr years when they had a largo store nnd a full line of goods by lookiug over their sales book for the present month. We chanced to sou their sales for last Tuesday, which amounted to a little more than one thousand five hundred and sixty dollars a pretty good day's trade for one littlo "shanty." II. A. Noah Palno has a native cow, eight yeirs old that has made during the year ending April 25th, 199 pounds of butter, with milk enough sold and used in the family to make 71 pounds, being n total of 270 pounds. A large number of our fariueis and quite a number from out of town were in attendanei! here to see and examine the noted Henry cows, which R. P. Pollard had houiilit for Watertown market and was earred at this place last Monday, April 23d. Tho cow was seven years old, home weight, 1,930 pounds; dressed weight at market, 1.400 pounds.
