been the victims of several blunders commu
ted by news reporters. So says the Aurora
Commercial. A judgment having Wen ob
tained two or three weekt ago In the Dearborn
Common' Pleat Court, againtl the Hrewin and
Malting Com any, certain creditors filfd a .
tition in ho U. S. Court at Indianapolis to
force the concern iaio involuntary bankruptcy,
which petition will be beard by that Court on
the 23ih Itift. The reporter of the Indianapo

for voluntary bankruptcy, and on the strength
of this assertion the Aurora Commercial male

A Co. having filed their petition to forca the

Decease of Hr. Hurkle.
The Indianapolis Journal publishes some
particulart concerning Mr. Nicholat D. Ruckle,
who died in this place on the 4th inst, of con
sumption, and whose remaino were taken lo
Indianapolia for interment. Mr. Ruckle was
tho father of Colonel Nicholat R. Ruckle, for
merly of the I48tb Regiment of Indiana Vol
unteers, now tha assistant foreman of the Jour
nal news room, and will be remembered by
many of the Journal's readers as a former citi
zen of Indianapolis, a merchant tailor, and
member of Wesley Chapel, and then of Trin
ity M. E. Church. Mr. Ruckle was .a man in
all that maket up tho true, kind-hearteJ, chris
tian, conscientious man, aud b'u death will bo
sincerely regretted by these who enjoyed the
pleasure of his personal acquaintance. He
wat in his sixty-first year'ao ago which near

are too few such thorough gentlemen and ex

such an one can bo found.

posited in the vault in the old grave-yard, but
