RAN AWAY on the 30th June last, from the estate of Daniel M‘Carty, deceased, in the county of Westmoreland, and state of Virginia, a Negro Man named JERRY, a bout thirty-five years of age* dark complex ion, about six feet high, a bad countenance, and a remarkable scar actoss his nose, and another on fiis head, a little above his fore head ; he had on a homespun twilled yarn and cotton round jacket and pantaloons.-— There is no doubt but he will change his clothes ; it is therefore thought unnecessary to describe them more particularly. It is expected that he has procured a pass, or a forged certificate of his freedom, as he went from a neighborhood where there are many free negroes who write, and from whom he might very readily obtain a copy of their pass, or certificate of freedom. It is confi dently expected that he will endeavor to get to some of the northern or eastern states. He was seen a short time since in the town of Baltimore. Thirty Dollars will be given, if taken in the county, and if out of the state and secured in any jail, so that I get him a gain, the above reward and all reasonable charges paid, if brought home.
