Negro Man named DANIEL, who caiis
himself Daniel Chavers. He is about
22.years of age} 5 feet ft) inches high,
and very genteelly made for a slave ;
of a black complexion ; has a small scar
between his eye brows ; hit upper lo e
teeth rather wide apart; has a piecing
countenance, and is apt to smiit when
spoken to : he professes to be a baptist,
prays very well* and I have no doubt
now attempts to preach. It is pre
sumed he will endeavor to obtain em
ploy as waiter or cook, having been ac
