It should be borne in mind, however, that pneumonia always results from a cold or from an attack of the grip, and that by giving Chamber lain's Cough Remedy the threatened attack of pneumonia may be warded off. This remedy is also used by physicians in the treatment of pneumonia with the best results. Dr. W. J. Arc Oil Crazy. Peru, Kansas, March 3.—The peo pie of this town, which has 134 pro ducing oil wells, are congratulating themselves that they will have no more school tax to pay. The school board was induced to lease the rear end of the school lot to oil specula tors, who put down a well and struck oil. As other wells on adjoining lots are yielding $50 to $75 a day, the school board figures that with its one eighth royalty it will have enough money to pay the teacher and meet all other school expenses. Encouraged by the school board's success, the Methodists have given a lease for a corner of the church lot and expect to have a well in a few days that will pay the best preacher the bishop can send them. The trustees of the cemetery, which is surrounded by good oil wells, have caught the fever also and will lease an acre of the cemetery as soon as the deed can be amended so ka to permit it, in the expectation that the revenue will enable them to have one of the finest graveyards is the sosn try.— Jackson News T.
