Stevens, which appeared in a former issue of this Journal. A number of judgments were taken by default. State vs. Geo. Wade, charged with retailing. Case dismissed. State ve. Cobbing, charged with iaroeny in J. P. Court. Appealed to Circuit Court where case was dis missed. Appeal oases against Cornelius Porter and Louis Cain were dis missed. State vs. Shipp Anderson, charged in J. P. Court with violating labor contract. Appealed to Circuit Court and in the meantime paid fine and cost and case dismissed.
