The period of liquidation in the Dry Goods trade for the present season is drawing to a
close; the heavy stocks now on hand must be sold or carried until next season; this is not
practical to do, because we haven't room sufficient to accommodate the present stock and
the incoming fall stock, furthermore it is not good business policy to carry over any
stock which can be converted into money* We want always to sell you fresh, new, de
