How the fire originated is a mystery, there not having been any fire in the house since the morning previous. He admitted that he had "accidentally" set the cabin afire, which was occupied, but other witnesses stated that be had prepared kindling and made elaborate preparations for the crime. He was arraigned before Judge Whittington who bound him over in $500 bond, to await disposition by circuit court. In default of bond he is in jail. W. H.
