The Woodburn Citizens' Association, rep resented by Dr. Allen Walker, Angus La mond, John Kclley, C. H. King and John Meikeljohn, made an appeal yesterday to the Commissioners for what they stated to be a very much needed Improvement to Blair road. The Commissioners promised that so much of the road as has not been abandoned shall be given attention this fall. The excise board j esterday rejected five applications for bar license that hae been pending since November 1, 1804. The list is n'v-follows: James Williams, No. 334 II street southwest; John F. Kelley, No. 332 B Btreet southwest; Kobert H. Key, No. 211 Third street south west; William A. Ehrincntraut. No. 901 F Etreet southwest; Elizabeth Gallagher, No. 113G Twenty first Etreet northwest, and Edward Murphy, No 1105 Twenty first street northwest.
