YOlSG Tellieo I'luins, April 15, 1863 4t 'ATS&'S a CHERRY PECTORAL rr Ike Cure ef corens, colds, hoarseness, EROMHITIS, WnOOPLVG-COUGH, CROUP, ASTHMA, AD - C0SSCMPTI0X. TO cure a Cold, with llcuduehe and Sore ness of the ltodv, take the Cherry. Pec toral on going to bed, and wrap up warm, to sweat during the night. For a Com and Covuii, take it morning, noon and evening, according to directions on tho bottle, nnd the difficulty will soon be removed. None will long suffer from this trouble when they find it can be so readily cured. Persons afflicted with a seated cough, which breaks them of their rest at night, will find, by taking the Cherry Pectoral on going to bed, they may be sure of sound, unbroken sleep, nnd consequently refreshing rest. Great relief from suffering, nnd an ultimate cure, is afford ed to thousands who are thus nlllicted, by this invaluable remedy. From its ugreeable effect in these cases, many find themselves unwilling to forego its use when the necessity for it has ceased. From two eminent i'hysicinns in Favktteville, Tenn., April 1(1, 1851. Sir: We have given your Cherry Pectoral nn extensive triiil in our practice, and find it to surpass every other remedy we hnve for curing attectious of the respiratory organs. Dus. LMKMicn S 11 AMI To Sinners ami Public Sneakers t" is invaluable, as by its action ou the throat and lungs, w hen taken in small quantities, it removes all hoarseness in a few hours, nnd wonderfully increases tho power and flexi bility of the voice. Asthma is generally much relieved, and nf ten wholly cured by Cherry Pectoral. But there are some cases so obstinate as to yield entirely to no medicine. Cherry Pectoral will oure them if they can be cured. Bronchitis, or irritation of the throat and upper portion of the lungs, may be cured by taking Cherry Pectoral in small and frequent doses. The uncomfortable oppression is soon relieved. Rev. Dr. Lansino, of Brooklyn, N. Y., states: "I have seen tho Cherry Pectoral cure such esses of Asthma and Bronchitis as lends me to believe it can rarely fuil to cure those diseases." For Croup. Give an cmetio of antimony, to be followed by lnrge and frequent doses of the Cherry Pectoral, until it subdues the dis ease. If taken iu season, it will not fail to cure. Wltooping Cough may bo -broken up und soon cured by the use of Cherry Pectoral. . The Influenza is speedily removed by this remedy. Numerous instances have been no ticed whero whole families were protected from any serious consequences, while their neighbors, without the Cherry Pectoral, were suffering from the disease.' Salem, Ohio, 11th June, 1851. Doct. J. V. Ayen I write to inform you of the truly remarkable effect of your Cherry Pectoral in this place, and in my own family. One of my daughters was completely cured in three days of a dreadful Whooping Cough, by taking it. Dr. Means, one of our very best physicians freely states that he considers it tho best remedy we have for pulmonary dis eases, and that he has cured more eases of Croup with it than any other medicine ho ever administered. Our clergyman of tho Baptist Church says that during the run of Influenza here this sea son, he has seen cures from your medicine he could scarcely have believed without seeing. Yours respectfully, J. D. Sinclair, Deputy Postmaster. From the distinguished Professor of Chemistry and Materia Medico, Bomloin College. I have found the Cherry Pectoral, as its ingredients show, n powerful remedy for colds, nnd coughs, and pulmonnry diseases. Parker Cleveland, M. D. Brunswick, Me., Feb. 5, 1817. ' DR. VALENTINE MOTT, " The widely celebrated Professor of Surgery in the Medical College, Now York city, says: "It gives me pleasure to certify the value and clticiency of 'Ayer's Cherry Pectoral,' which I consider peculiarly adapted to cure diseases of tho Throat and Lungs." Cures of severe diseases upon tho Lungs hnve been effected by Cherry Pectoral in such extreme cases as warrant the belief that a remedy has at length been found that can be depended on to cure the Coughs, Colds nnd Consumption which carry from our midst thousands every year. It is iudecd a medi cine to which the nlllicted can look with con fidence for relief, nnd they should not fuil to avail themselves of it. PREPARED Jii J. DEN X IS, M. 1)., Auoi;sta, GionniA. For Diseases of the Liver andtopnr'fy the Blood, ffHIS preparation is made of the Sarsapa L rilln which grows in Georgia and South Carolina. Those who hnvo used tho various preparat ions will find that it produces the best effect upon the system in all diseases in which Siirsupurilln is indicated, and has a taste more like pore Sarsnparilla than a.i other prepara tion of tho kind now off-red to the public. The article sent Soul h, labelled Surmapsrilla, hns a sweet taste more like Sugar or Molas ses thnn any thing else, which proves that there is but little or no Sarsnparilla in it. The Georgia Sarsnparilla has a bitter taste, corresponding with tlie taste of the fresh roots which proves that it contains nothing hut Sarsaparilla, with spirit and Sugar enough to preserve it. With most persons it acts upon the bowels nsa mild purgative. Its healthy action on the Liver and Blood preveiitsthe tendency of mor bid influences and is often a safeguard against disease Physicians who may question the efficacy of this superior home-made art icle in diseases of tho Liver, have only to observe its effects in the cure of Jaundice, to bo convinced that it is the best adapted to professional and family use, and t lint it is the best that is pre- pa; red in t he United Stntes.
