Movie Deserves Oscar This celebration will pro vide the people of this area with the very first opportu nity to view that by now fa mous color, sound film, "This Is Your Croatian Fraternal Union!" Nothing like it has ever before been attempted in our Society's history, and we can guarantee that once you've seen the film, you'll hold your Organization in greater es teem than ever before. Day-Long Celebration Following age old tradition we expect to have plenty of hot roast lamb and pork on Versailles, Pa. A salute to the Diamond Jubilee of the Croatian Fraternal Union by the affiliates of "Holy Trinity" CFU Lodge 146 has been scheduled for Saturday, November 27th, at the Lodge Hall, located on Third St. A day-long program of events is being planned, with the festivities beginning as early as 12:00 Noon and the major portion of the entertainment set for enactment at 7:30 PM the same day. Our own talented Junior' Nest 27 youngsters will shine in the opening evening scenes, by performing for the enjoy ment of our guests. Many of the boys and girls will surprise the audi- hand to satisfy the inner man, along with other favor ite dishes, sandwiches and dr i n k s of all sorts and strengths. Those of you who intend to spend the entire day in our midst may order por tions of barbecued lamb and pork as early as 12:00 Noon, thereby alleviating the "little women" of the usual dinner time worries. Vincent Biskupic, Chicago, Manager of Junior Order Nest 17 and member of Lodge 32, emer ged over the weekend as the third Honorary Delegate to the Croatian Fraternal Uni on's 9th Quadrennial Conven tion in 1955. Bro. Biskupic qualified for the honor November 19 by surpassing the Society's 60th Anniversary Member ship Campaign Grand Prize quota of 750 Points, the "payoff goal." Preceding bro. Biskupic in victory were George Balich, Lodge 288, Indiana Harbor, Indiana, and John Birek, Lodge 14, Cleveland, Ohio. Bro. Balich is Secretary of his Lodge bro. Birek the Direc tor of Cleveland's Croatian Radio Hour. Sponsoring this much publicized undertaking are all 12 of the Cro atian Fraternal Union's Greater Cleveland subordinate units, to wit, Nos. 14, 21, 22, 47, 99, 235, 337, 403, 590, 663, 671 and 859.
