Mont. Mrs. Barbara Sladich, 75. wife of the late Joseph Sladich and a well known resident of An aconda for more than 57 vears was summoned by death at 5:30 Monday afternoon. January 26. 1959, at the fam ily home. 213 Birch Street. Death had followed an exten ded illness. Mrs. Sladic^ was born in Yugoslavia October 27, 1883. and came to Anaconda from her native home in 1901. She resided here continuously since. Her husband. Joseph, a well Bar at 600 East Third Street for many years, died here November 17, 1930. Mrs. Sladich was a la yout member of St. Peter's Church, St. Peter Altar So ciety, Catholic Home and Catholic Order of Forres ters, and "St. Peter and Paul" CFU Lodge 84. Hundreds of friends and relatives filled St. Peter's Church at 9:00 a.m.. Thurs day, January 29. during the Requiem Mass. The cortege formed at the Finnegan Com pany Chapel and proceeded to the church. The Rev. Timothy Moroney was the celebrant of the Mass and he was assisted by the Rev. Friday, May 15, will be the site of the Silver Anniversa ry Get-Together Dance. On Saturday, the 16th, the Silver Anniversary Ball will be heldf and on Sunday, May 17, the Banquet and presentation of trophies will be ^staged.
