Z'H'' Headache is the favorite sign by which nature makes known any deviation whatever from the natural state of tire bruin, and viewed in this light it may he look ed on as n safeguard iutended to give notice of disease wbieb might otherwise escape attention, till too lato to be remedied; and its indications should never be neglected. Headaches ntny he classified under two names, vi/.:— Symptomatic and Idiopathic. Symptomatic Headache ia exceedingly common and is the preeursor of a great va riety of diseases, among which are Apoplexy, Gout, Hh utnatism, and all febrile diseases. In its nervous form it is sympathetic of disease of the stomach, constituting »tck headache, of hepatic disease, constituting biliou* h adacht, of worms, constipation and other disorders of the bowels, as well as renal aud uterine affections. Dis eases of the heart are very frequently attend'd with Headaches; Anrnmia and plethoria arc also affections which frequently occasion headache. Idiopathic Head ache is ulso very common, being usually distinguished by the rarne of nervnu* hvadache, sometimes coming on sud denly in a state of apparently souud health and prostrat ing at once the mental and physical energies, and iu oth er instances it comes on slowly, heralded by deprets'on of spirits or acerbity of temper. Iu most instances the pain is in the front of the head, over oue or both eyes, and sometimes provoking vomiting; under this cliss may al so be named Xeurali/ia. For the treatment of either class of Headache the Ceph alic Pills have been found a sure aud safe remedy, re lieving the most acute pains in a few minutes, and t>y its subtle power eradicating the diseases of whioh Headache ia the unerring index: Bridget.—Missus wants you to saod her r box of Ce phalic Glue, no, a bottle of Prepared Pills—bnt I'm thinking that's not just it naither; but perhaps ye’ll be after knowing what it is. Ye a c she’s nigb dead nod goue with the Sick Headache, and wants some more of thut same ns relieved her before, Drutiyi.it.—You must mean Spalding's Cephalic Pills Brijyet — Och ! sure now and you’ve red it; here’s the quarther, aud giv me the Pills and don't be all day about it aither: Constipation or Costlvim **. No one of the “many ills that llesh is heir to” is so prevalent, so little understood, and so much neglected as Oostiveness. Oltcu originating in carelessness, orseden tary habits, it is regarded as u sl:ght disorder of too lit tle consequence to excite anxiety, while in reality it is a preecursor and companion of many of the most fatal and dangerous diseases, aud unless early eradicated it will bring the sufferer to an unt mely grave. Among the lighter evils ol which costiveness is the usual attend ant, arc Headache, Colic, Rheumatism, Foul Breath, Piles aid others of like nature, while a long traiu ot frightful diseases, such as Malignant Fevers, Abscesses, Dvsen. teiy, Diarrhea, Apoplexy, Epilepsy, Paralysis, Hysteria, Hypochondriacs, Melancholy und insanity, first indicate th. ir presence in the system by this alarming svmptom Not uufrrqueutly the diseases named originate in Consti pation, but take on an independent existence unless the cause is eradicated in an early stage. From all these considerations it follows that the disorder should receive immediate attention whenever it occurs, and no person should neglect to get a box of Cephalic Pills on the first appcar.itice of the complaint, as their timely use will ex pel the insidious approaches of disease and destroy this dangerous foe to human life. A Heal Hlewalnx. Phytieian.—Wt II, Mrs. Jores, how is that headache Mrt. Jonet.—Gone! Call tor Cephalic Pills, I find they never fail, aud I recom mend tie tn in all cases of Headache. Mrt Ji.net.—I shall send for a box dhectly, and shal tell all my suffering friends, lor they are a real hleuiny, Twxntt Millions or Dollars saved.— Mr. Spalding has sold two millions of bottles of his cel brated Pre pared Glue, and it is estimated that each bottle saves at least ten dollars worth of broken furniture, thus making an sggiegate of twenty millions ol dollars reclaimed from totnl loss by this valuable invention. Having mad his Glue a household word, he now proposes to do the world still greater service hy curing all the aching heads with his Cephalic Pil s, and if they are as good as his Glue, Headaches will soon vanish away like snow in Juty. Over Excitement, and the mental care and anxiety in.idcnt to close attention to business or s'udy, are among the numerous causes of Nervous Headache. The disordered state of in nd and body incident to this dis tressing complaint is a fatal blow to all energy »Dd am bition. Sufferers hy this disorder can always obtain speedy relief from these distressing attacks hy using one of the Cephalic Pdls whenever the symptoms appear.— It quiets 'he overtasked brain, and soothes the strained and jarring nerves, ard relaxes the tension of the stom ach which always accompanies aud aggravates the disor dered condition of the brain. Fact worth Knowing.—Spalding’s Cephalic Pills are a certain cure for Sick Headact e, Bilious Headache, Ner vous Headache, Costiveness and General Debility. (irkat Discovkry.—Amorg the most important of all the great medical discoveries o' this age may be consid ered the ststcm of vaccination hr p otrc :on from Small Pox, the Cephalic l’ill for relief of Cradacbe, and the use of Quinine for the t>evcntion of Fevers, either of which is a sure «>'• c c, whose benefits will be experienc ed hv suffering humanity long after their discoverers are forgotten. HPDid you ever have the Sick Headache? Do you remember the throbbing temples, the fevered brow, the loathing and digust at the sight of food. How totally unfit you were for pleasure, conversation or study. One of the Cephalic Pills would have relieved you from all the suffering which you then experienced.
