I'm ttumiv, April <» — it U now known that war im

Cnnloderacy lor three thousand volunteers, except Flori

saysevirv thing is prepared for action. Vessels have
been ordered to keep out of the range of fire b.-tweeu
Fort Moultrie and Fort Sumter. Toe doaiiug battery is
to be moved this evening to a point near F'ort Sumter.—
A house has been blown up near one of tbe batteries to
clear tbe way. Bu iucas has been suspended and intense
excitement exists.
Private advices received here this morning give noth

the Government would sustain him at every hi zxrd. Ttie

W hen the government dct rrn ucd some days a;o to
order M j. Andersou out ol the fort, it wa- 03 the condi

him with provisions forthwith. A portion of the 11 el
which l.'tt New Y ork last night, will reach Charleston tt

Charleston w.th a hostile intent; but, iu view of t e
