Mrs. Kikuy Before Ji'Due Lyons \ esterday—
The Arschext in Her Cask Deferred Until To
Morrow.—Mrs. Kirby, whose case is well under
stood by the readers of the Wmo. was again before
Judge Lyons' Court yesterday, when the testimony
.<1 Dts. Spence, Dove, Gaillaird, liaxall, Houston
and others was taken as to her meutal condition.—
It will be remembered that these witnesses had been
previously examined upon the same point Mrs.
Kirby looked much paler than when in court ten
days ago, and seemed to be much reduced in ttesii.
It was remarked by all w ho had previously seen her
t! it she was more quiet ami paid less atieutiou to
what was going on around her.
Dr. Spence was lirst sworn, and testified as
follows—I have examined Mrs. Kirby six or eight
times since she was last iu Court 1 have tried
every means at my disposal to te-t whether she was
in>ane or uot, and" I am more satisfied now than ever
that she is insane. I have carefully watched her
movements, and everything that she docs, in my
opinion, indicates that her reason is dethroned. I
have never beeu able in any of my visits to get a
reasonable answer to any question propounded to
her.
Dr. Dove testified as follows—I think Mrs. Kirby’s
meutal and physical condition w one than ever be
fore. 1 don't believe she hits a single ray of con
sciousness. I think her mental and physical condi
tion requires that she be removed to an insane
asylum immediately.
W. Hail Hard testified aa follows—I have not seen
Mis. Kirby siuee she was last ;u court, until yester
day morning. My opinion lias not been changed in
regard to her mental condition. I am still of the
opinion that she is feigning insanity. Her physical
•ndit on ints materially changed forthe worse since
I i ist saw her.
Dr. liaxall—I have been to sec Mrs. Kirby only
once since she was in court last l asked her a
great tuauy questions, but failed to get a single co
herent answer. My opiuiuu has not changed in re
gard to her meutal condition. I think her physical
condition is somewhat weaker.

Hist, kical Facts.—On. night, near the front

there was one thing which was not spilled, and that

when he found him-df tumbling into the ditch, he
held above his head ami tbns'saved, and which he
and his companion safely deposited afterward in a

Dov. u m that same neighborhood, or rather to the

got so bothered that we didn't Know our head from

Is-re’s another 'historical fact; I hie day in the sum
