Riveo Pollard, parties alleged to have boon recently concerned 111 a duel, was taken up by Justices Riddiek and Lee, of Henrico, at the County Court-house. Dr. Tally, a Confederate surgeon, was called to the witness stand, whereupon Mr. John B. You.ll;', the Commonwealth's prosecutor, propounded ques tion- to him Kinular to those which had been asked Dr. Peticolas, all of wliich Dr. T. declined to answer upon the ground that they uiight implicate him in n criminal prosecution.
