"For the last ten year-; William Pike,

.ruidcri eagle, which he got before it was
liiiU fledged, and which is considered
ore of the Cnest specimens in the king
dom—p< riect in plumage and unite tame,

about the thickness oi sheep-fencing.
For more ttian a year past, two wild
eagles ol the same species have frequented
themountainoverhishou.se. They have,

of the tame eagle, and also on the" top of

the air to mark the game, while tho other
twists and turns about, like* greyhound,

the prey, he at once poises, and the other
takes up the running, and so on until
