Confederate States Dbtjuct Comt.— In Judge Halybui ton's Court, yesterday-, the caso of tho Confederate States versus Joseph R. Anderson & Co., of Richmond, a decree was entered order ing the payment by defendant of the sum of 550.559.6S to 11. L. Brooke, Re ceiver, with interest thereon from Fe bruary 1, ISGS, due from alien enemies in New York, Pennsylvania, Connecticut and other Northern States. The court thereupon adjourned till the 10th instant, tho commencement of the next term. Sandy, of Essex county, Virginia: petitioner prays to be discharged from active duty, as he was over the conscript age at the time of en rollment, and to be put into the reserves. After argument by counsel, the Court retained its decision until this morning, lion. B. B. Douglas, of the Virginia Se nate, appeared for affiant; 13. It. Welford, Jr., for Government. Peyton Johnston was discharged from the custody of Colonel J. B Daiifortb, under a writ of habeas corpus, in conse quence of being over the age of fifty years. The ca c c of James Kennedy, who ap plies for a discharge from the same regi ment on the same grounds, was continue! until Monday. In the caso of William Wing&eld, of Hanover county, a bonded farmer, who was amoDg those whose details were re voked, and he now applies for a discharge un,der his bond: after heaving the evi dence and arguments of counsel, the Court reserved its decision until Monday next. lion. Criminal Cockt, yesterday, was occupied during the entire session with the hearing of the evidence and argc raents in the case of Thcs. II Robson, a Marylander, who sought a discharge from the militia service of the city upon the ground of his nativity. The Judge recognized his right to an exemption, and thereupon discharged him. Mr. Myers for petitioner. 'No other business was done. Mayor's Court. — Recorder Caskie pnesidtng. —The following esses were docketed and disposed of yesterday morning: David Poindexter wos charged with receiving five pairs of drawers, one coat, one jacket, two shirt?, and a lot of cloth ing, supposed to have been stolen. The case was continued. # Ten dollars fine was imposed upon Thomas Cook, charged with trespassing upon the premises of Henry Beckman and being a suspicious character. Thirty-nine la?hes were ordered to be inflicted upon William Bass, a free ne gro, charged with receiving four ambu lance springs stolen from the Confede rate States, he well knowing they were dishonestly obtained. Subsequently, through counsel, an appeal was taken from the Recorder's decision to the Hustings Court. Delia Mack, charged with breaking into and entering the house of Caroline Mack, for the purpose of taking there*** from certain articles which did nut be long to ber, was held to security in the sum of one thousand dollars for her fu ture good behavior. The case of Richard, slave of Delia Mack, charged with trespassing on the premises of Caroline Mack 1 and aiding Delia Mack, his reputed mistress and in timate companion, in breaking into and entering the house of Caroline Mack, which had been pending and continued for the past two weeks, was disposed of. The accused was ordered thirty nine lashes for the trespass and thirty-nine lashes more for being on too intimate terms with his owner, Mrs. Delia Mack. A continued faro-bank case, involving two citizens of Richmond as proprietors, was called, and again postponed till the 4th instant, the parties implicated giving security, in the meantime, in the sum of two thousand dollars for their appear ance to answer the offence. Honorably Retired.—Captain L. W.
