In fact there is to be something a little extra in the mat ter of music. Remember the Cantata comes off at the Congregational church Christ mas-eve, Monday evening of next week. This is to be a musical treat, calculated to please the audience throught the evening, with of course the Christmas tree festivities to follow. The Methodist church will have its Chriartmas entertainment on Mon day evening in the Court house. There will be a short program with Santa Claus' chimney, and Christ mas tree. A cordial invitation is extended to. all members of the con gregation and Sunday school, with their friends, to be present and bring their gifts. Rev. Father Albrecbt of Yankton, has arrived and will conduct his initiatory service at St. John's church, Sunday next. By inquiry we learn that he will speak in Eng. lish at eight o'clock 'service in the morning, and at 10:30 in the fore noon. The Rev. Father called on THE TIMES in company with A, Miksche, Esq., and we have a good opinion of his ability. The week previously we noted the fact that the Episcopal ladies' fair and supper were ..followed by .a dance, the statement being left a little ambiguously, in that one might have imagined tlie dance was a feature of the ladies' enter prise, which was not a fact.
