Mr. Ad ams has moved his family here and tljey are now living in the hotel- Mors Soldisrs Thru Wahpston. Last Friday afternoon another troop train passed through Wah peton and Breckenridge. The. train stayed in Breckenridge two hours and during that time the soldiers marched through the two towns. The men were lumber jacks from Michigan that had been drafted and had been stationed at Camp Custer, Battle Creek. Mich., and were going to Vancouver, 15. C.. to work in the lumber camps until spring. The train was com posed of sixteen coaches and car ried six hundred men. During the stop here, the Red Cross Soci ety of the two towns passed apples to the soldiers. Norwsglan Lutheran Church. Dow received word that her son had died at a hospital in Iling ham, Mont., of blood poisoning, due to a small scratch on his hand. Clarence Dow was born in Wah peton January 27th. 1885- lie grew to manhood in this city, and a ifew years ago went to Montana where lie proved up on a claim last, fall. The funeral services were held Monday afternoon from the Chris tian Science hall. The pallbearers were members of the Workman lodge, of which Mr- Dnw was a member. lie leaves a mother and sister 1o mourn his death.
