Theaters =This Week FITCH'S COMEDY, "GIRLS," AT THE PALACE The Associate Players promise a real treat in their presentation of tbe late Clyde Fitch's farce comedy, "Girls, which will orten at the Palace theater this (Sunday) eveninar and will be the attraction durinn the coming week. The plot deals with the experiences of a crowd of young and old "girls" who believe themselves to be man haters of the nth degree. Their trials and tribu lations, counled with their natural in clinations. make up an entertaining farce. FULL WEEK AT THE GRAND THEATER The Grand theater is scheduled to have a busy week, commencing tonight with George White's "Scandals of 1910". a big musical revue that will also be seen tomorrow (Monday) evening. The "Scandals of 1910''. is a travesty on foibles of the dav. It is essentially a "dancing show", with a big chorus, a host of comedians and singers galore. Tuesday and Wednesday evenings will be Patanges vaudeville, as usual at the Grand. There are six acts on the bill. Maud Earl, a prima-donna of vaudeville and her company, in a fantastic sinking noveltv. is said to be one of the ni° K t successful of the 1920 vaudeville offer ings. Among the other numbers are Waca. Iîligh and McCarty. the three sons of jazz; Salvation Molly, a drama»ie plcylet presented by Frank Belmont ana company; Jack Sidney and J^ a ^ e , Townlev in their latest comedy. A Sub way Flirtation"; The Pals, four young men who furnish songs—solos and en sembles; and the Three Bartos, athletes in sensational gymnastic tricks. "Three Wise Fools." presented b.v John Golden with the original New York cast, will bo the attraction at the Granu Thursdav and Friday evenings. This is acknowledged the best-acted comedv of recent years and is staged adnnraolv. It deals with the coming into the lives of three crusty old bachelors of a young girl bequeathed them by a woman they had all loved and lost in their earlier manhood. The young girl, played by Helen Menken, rejuvenates the old bachelors. The comedy offers humor that no true theater lover can well afford I to miss. Arthur Middleton, the American bass baritone, appears at the Grand in con cert nest Saturday evening. He ap peared 35 times during his first year with the Metropolitan Opera company which is testimony of his popularity. SEXTON HAS THREE ATTRACTIONS FOR WEEK Wallace Reid in "Always Audacious". Enid Bennett in "Her Husband's Friend", and Billic Burke in "1 be Frisky Mrs. Johnson", are three stellar movie attractions to b« shown at tne Sexton theater during the coming week. Opening today and continuing^ Monday and Tuesday is Wallace Reid's latest comedy. "Always Audacious", in which he essays a dual role. , _ . William Desmond in "Whitewashed Walls" will be shown at the Gem Tues day and Wednesday. The comedy is a travestv on comic opera happenings m certain Latin-America states. For Thursday and Friday, the Gem | will show Charles Hay in "Bill Henry," j one of Ray's best productions in which he wins at poker and buys some worth less land to help a lady friend, only to find the land is valuable after all. As an added feature the manage ment installed a beautiful flood illu mination effects to be us«d for waltzes.
