All workmen are at liberty to work for whomsoever they see fit. AH employers are at liberty to em ploy and discharge whomsoever they see fit. The last clause is a plain declaration for the open shop. Union men have always contested thai a. successful movement to establish the open shop meant the end of organized labor. For this reason it is predicted that the new association will have the antagon ism of the unions from the very out set. The organization of the building traces is the first great step in the movement urged by President Parry of the National Manufacturers' Asso ciation to organize all employers of the United States in a fight against the alleged unjust demands of the la bor unions. Plans Have Been Drawn, and Are Now in the Hands of the Barbour Compan. Thursday marked the official open ing of the post office at Don Luis, and he receipt and dispatching of mails from the new town establishes mere firmly the fact that there is now a full fledged town at Don Luis. Another Important factor entered into the establishment of the city at the souhern end of he Mule Moun tains, when J. A. Holden, the well known architect from Douglas, who had been commissioned to prepare de signs for the new school house at Don Luis, yesterday submitted the same to the He,nry P Barbour Co. These de signs cover a very handsome building to be built of Tufa stone or masonry, covered with cement, and stone trim mings and rustic shingle work and fin ish in the exterior. The designs de part from thc stereotyped style ot architecture of school buildings, being on the cottage order. The building will be close to 75 feet in length, and about 35 feet In depth. There are to be two school rooms, each 29 by 29 feet. Entrance is made into a com modious vestibule, on either side of which is a cloak room, and the most ample light will be provided for each room. Upon Mr. Barbour's return these designs will be examined and approved and the building commenced. Progress is being daily marked in the new town. 1 THIS WEEK. the Review. Latest News.
